Saw it while shoe shopping. I really like this, and it makes me want one of my own.

thats a pretty bug...... i have one similar, but not...... its got drag lites, like this one, but wider in the back 10" wide wheels, and 295 50 15 that tuck under the stock fenders......... its a non super beetle, about 4 different colors.....
that sure is a pretty bug.......

I couldn't own something that pretty. It would spend its time outside and in dirt too much.

yeah, i live down about a mile and a half of dirt road, and just flat gave up on pretty paint........ character has risen to take its place....

I'm in the same boat. The dirt roads give my DD character. I keep forgetting I drive a red car.

I’ll never forget the Car Talk where a woman calls in and asks if she should buy a Beetle, they tell her they can’t recommend one because they are death traps haha.

No I think they mean any, it’s true. You get hit by anything significant in one and they might as well bury you in it. Maybe having more up front with an engine helps, but any collision up front usually means the front bumper is in the back seat.
